pictr day is a curated portrait experience inspired by the nostalgia of school picture day — reimagined for now. it blends photography, set design, and atmosphere into something relaxed, intentional, and personal.
it’s closer to a portrait session than a traditional photobooth. you’ll be guided through a short, focused shoot with thoughtful lighting, composition, and direction — without the pressure of a long photoshoot.
pictr day is designed to be approachable and efficient while still feeling special. instead of a long booking or heavy prep, you step into a ready-made world and leave with timeless portraits.
each group is photographed for approximately 5 minutes. sessions are designed to move efficiently while still allowing for multiple compositions, including close-ups, full-body portraits, and group shots.

yes — tickets reserve your spot and help us manage timing and flow throughout the day.
your ticket includes your portrait session and access to the full digital gallery after the event. prints are available separately at pictr.day/prints.
if availability allows, a limited number of tickets may be available at the door. advance purchase is strongly recommended.
tickets are intended per person or per group option as listed. if you’d like to be photographed together, choose a group ticket.

the full gallery will be delivered digitally within a few days after the event.
you’ll receive a private link via email to view the gallery along with instructions on how to place print orders.
yes — digital downloads are included in your ticket and yours to do with as you please. please only download images of yourself and/or the group you came with.
you’ll select your favorites directly from the gallery and choose from curated print options inspired by classic picture day formats.
yes — the gallery will remain open so you can order prints later. if you want your prints by a certain date (i.e. Valentine’s Day, Christmas Eve, etc.) the PICTR DAY team may give you a deadline of when you must place your order.
no. prints are limited to images you appear in.

we recommend coming dressed in one outfit you feel confident and comfortable in. classic silhouettes, textures, and thoughtful color choices photograph beautifully. bold or simple both work — just avoid large logos unless intentional.
there most likely will not be time for full outfit changes however removal or addition of jackets and/or accessories is welcomed.
mirrors will be available. changing space may be limited depending on the venue, however all venues will have a restroom available.
small personal props are welcome, as long as they don’t disrupt the flow of the experience.

all of the above. come solo, with a partner, with multiple partners, or with friends — just select the ticket that fits your group. all are welcome, we want you to be happy, comfortable and to capture images that feel like you!
yes. pictr day is an inclusive, affirming space for everyone. we are an lgbtq+ run collective, your comfort and safety is prioritized.
absolutely! many guests come solo.
yes, as long as space allows. only ticketed guests will be photographed. tickets may be available for purchase on site at pictr.day/experiences should your guest change their mind!

most guests spend 20–30 minutes total, depending on lines and how long they linger. our pictr day experiences are designed to be in-and-out or‍ ‍you can linger in the space, have a drink, get food nearby and enjoy great music and even better company.
coat check availability depends on the venue. details will be shared closer to the event.
pictr day is typically indoors unless otherwise noted.
